Since I thoroughly trounced the kid in our power snatch showdown yesterday today he threw down the gauntlet and challenged me to an axle push-press off the racks contest. Knowing my shoulder is still on the mend he decided to kick an old man when he was down. His plan backfired as I decided that if I had to tear every fiber out of my shoulder I was going to beat him. It went down like this.

Supersetted press behind neck/rear delt raise: 6 sets of 12/12

Preacher machine curls:
6 sets (last three were drop sets till failure)
Reverse curl with 2” axle:
5 sets x 12, 10, 8, 6, 14

Lately the kid has been wanting to train calves. I told him that the very best calf exercise that I ever did was old school donkey calf raises and that he should try them. Since we were both wearing EFS shirts and doing something so gay I had to get a picture for Dave Tate. His response to the picture I sent him was simply, “OMG!” I assure him that everything was on the level by simply saying “No Homo”.

So I’m here to say to you all . . . RISE UP and FEAR NOT THE DONKEY CALF RAISE! Jump on your buddies back and go to town all beastmode and shit. Set the trends and be the first one in your gym giving your partner a good hard ride and build massive calves in the process.
