Squat / Pull Day
I hit an all time low today energy wise and decided to skip my squat and pull workout. I’m so tired and work is so busy that I’m a zombie on the car ride home. Last time I trained like this I injured myself. Since I skipped last weeks deload I feel totally fine not going in tonight. I decided to do a solid recovery and mobility workout while the kids watched the land before time. Netflix is awesome sometimes.
I did a giant superset of 10 mobility movements with 10 soft tissue movements. Each set was 10 passes on 10 reps. After these I did a few top secret Mike Robertson exercises for my hips.
Here is what I did.
Prisoner squat
Foam roll entire back
Lying 1 leg front raise
Foam roll side thigh
Lying 1 leg side raise
Foam roll ¾ thigh
Standing knee raise
Foam roll glutes
Lying internal knee squeeze
Foam roll hamstrings
Wall slide
Lacrosse back on delts
Push up plus
Lacrosse ball on pecs
Pec mobs
Theracain on upper back
Trunk twist
Theracain on low back
Dorsy flexion
Theracain on hips
DONE. Time to sit on the couch and do nothing.
