Me and the kid did some power snatches today and we decided to have a little contest. The loser had to write something nice about the winner on the white board. You can probably figure out who won by looking at the picture.
I warmed up liberally then did
90x1 I took this for the win but oooooh man, it was hurting my shoulder. There is only so far that a cortisone will take you I guess. I’m just glad I didn’t need to go any higher.
50kgs plus 120lbs in chains x 8
70kg plus 120lbs in chains x 5
90kg plus 120lbs in chains x 5
100kg plus 120lbs in chains x 3
115kg plus 120lbs in chains x 6 doubles (short rest)
80kg plus 120lbs in chain x 3 x 12 (short rest)
Glute/Ham raise: 4 x 20
Standing abs: 4 x 8
