And now I have two kids!!!
So I’m a new daddy…….again……
My second daughter was born Tuesday August 14th at 6:33AM. MY wife’s water broke 8:00PM the night before and was fully dilated at 6:00AM. 30 minutes of pushing and Morgan Ann Yard is here. I’m running off of about 10 hours of sleep since Tuesday but I’m doing great. My wife is doing great and is already planning her Marathon prep for the “Boston”. My four year old Laney is being a great helper and life has just stepped up a notch in our household.
So new baby is here but training must go on. I still have other goals to finish with. I missed Tuesday squat night due to being at the hospital. I mixed my squat and bench day together in a very low volume fashion to stay on course with the meet cycle. I was exhausted but eager to train. Here’s what I did.
Squat 555 reps only
135 for 5 185 for 5 235 for 3 315 for 3 405 for 2 475 for 5
Bench 531 reps only
135 for 5 185 for 3 225 for 2 315 for 2 410 for 1
Deadlift
245 for 5 singles
DONE
This was a simple and easy workout but all I could muster running off 3 hours of sleep the night before.
