Tuesday - Back in the saddle

I really wanted to do some work on Monday, but I felt like a bag of smashed sphincters. Did not feel much better on Tuesday, but knew I had to get moving. Had a big branch down in my yard from a storm and other yard work to do. Did that first and then dragged. My wife watched from the window and actually felt bad for me. If I looked half as miserable as I felt, it must have been awful to see.

For me doing the work when I don't want to is like mental training. When I force myself to do things when I don't want to, I know I am getting stronger. It's like when I am hungry during my daily morning fast, when I'm hungry, I know my nutritional plan is working.
