Deloading before the meet.
Today was my deload for all three lifts. I worked up to roughly 45-50% on the squat and bench and did some super light deadlifts.
I was running late today and had to skip my soft tissue and mobility warm ups. Luckily the weight was light and I did a ton of that stuff yesterday so I didn’t feel too tight.
Squat
145 for 5 195 for 3 235 for 2 285 for 2 325 for 1
I like to have command calls on these even though it’s a deload. It’s important to get your mind right about a week out.
Bench
135 for 5 185 for 2 245 for 1
Deadlift
135 for 5 sets of 1-2 reps.
DONE
I feel officially done with this training cycle. I may or may not do a couple light things on Saturday but all the real lifting is over. I’m going to hit the mobility and foam rolling up until the meet. Nothing major but just enough to keep me limber……………………That’s tight, I said LIMBER.
