Training with a guest today
I received an email last week from a guy named Caleb Wright from South Carolina who was driving up through Philly on his way to do his military reserve duty at West Point in NY. He asked to do a training session with me, so I asked him what kind of training he was looking to do. He just said he wanted me to put him through one of my crazy bodybuilding workouts so I told him that he should just come down when me and the boys are training and just join in with us. There was a lot of action going on in the gym today and hopefully we showed him a good time. He got to see just how hard it is for me to train through all the commotion going on in the gym, my training partners never knowing when it's their turn and the distraction of random women coming in off the street to see the dominator. It's a wonder I have muscles at all to be honest.
This is what we ended up doing today.
High Pulls with added band tension: I set up light band tension in the Power Rack - Collegiate Power Rack we used enough band tension to really feel it pulling down at the top. 60kgs x 8 80 x 5 100 x 5 120 x 5 130 x 3 140x3 140x3 140x3
Military presses with bands- we set up light band tension and worked up to max triple for three sets, then dropped the bands for max reps
80kgs plus bands x 3x3 80kgs without bands x 2 x8
Heavy dumbbell side raises: 4 sets till failure.
Rear delt raises supersetted with band pull-a-parts: 3 sets of 12/12
