Training with my main man Bob
Before I get into today’s workout let me just tell you why Pop Pop Bob is my main man. I’m purchasing a new kilt because my old one was fitted for me when I was 325lbs and now I’m a svelte 270, plus it has 20 years of tacky and chalk all ground into it from the many celtic battles it has seen and has also been rolled up in a ball and thrown into my gym bag wet a thousand times. Not a good situation for wool, trust me. The Kilt maker just needed some measurements from me and since my wife turned me down when I asked her I asked Bob, and he of course said yes. Bros before hoes! So there we were in my office . . . alone . . . Bob was shirtless . . . oh I didn’t mention that he asked me to check his body fat percentage while we were in there? Yeah, we were in my office alone, bob was half naked measuring my length as well as my girth, while a gentle Pink Floyd song played on my computer. It was quite a gay, yet tender moment between two consenting training partners. Is there ANYTHING that guy WON’T do?
Then I rewarded him by making him ill with this workout:
Deadlift/high pull combos:
120kgs (265lbs): 3 deadlifts/3 high-pulls
120: 4 deads/4 pulls
120: 5 deads/5 pulls
120: 6 deads/6 pulls
120: 7 deads/7 pulls
120: 8 deads/8 pulls
There was only Bob and I training today so we went at a fast pace and it was sickening.
Barbell rows: 120kgs x 4 x 8
Hyper deads: 200lbs 3x8, 1x12
Inverted rows: 4 sets
By the way, that girl in the picture is NOT Bob. Bob doesn't have that many tattoos.
