Something I learned at the LTT Seminar
Today I wanted to give something a try that I learned at the recent EliteFTS Learn To Train Seminar from Josh Bryant. And exercise called ‘Hyper Deads’, it’s just what it sounds like. A straight leg, super strict deadlift performed on a 45 degree hyper bench. I really liked them, although they are some pretty sadistic shit on your hamstrings at first, so after 5x5 I was pretty cramped. I’d like to add these in a lot more though and see if I could really push the weight up higher in the future.
Hyper deads:
135x6
135x6
185x5
225 plus 100 on chains 5x5
Inverted rows: 4 sets till failure
Hammer high rows: 4 sets
Barbell shrugs:
225x20
315x15
365x4x12
Standing abs: 4 x 8
