Squat / Pull Day
Like the bench yesterday I stuck with reverse bands to ease up the start of the lift to get some work in without killing myself. We did reverse mini bands. I really like these. I took the liberty of sinking each rep as deep as I could go without rounding out.

I feel like such an idiot sometimes. I know I have no business going for heavy weights as I proved last weekend at the meet that I’m way over due for some rest. Like the true moron that I am I went for 645 and missed it bad. One day I will learn. I have gotten so far away from programming and meet prep that it’s now interfering with my ability to recover and make smart choices. I have been dieting for so long and focusing on losing weight to make weight that I lost focus of things that I have done day in and day out for years to hit solid meets. I need to sit down and establish “the rules of the game” and stick to them. Rule number one will be to never miss. Rule number two will be to do the extra things like they are the big things. I have done this in the past when I was chasing 2000 raw and when I stuck to the rules I hit 2000. I need to focus and plan harder to reach my goal. I have some work to do.
