Friday training and video
I had to stop off at my doctor’s office on my way into the gym today to just get some blood drawn for some routine screening. He wanted me to fast and not eat breakfast before the test so I bit the bullet and skipped breakfast. I grabbed a crappy little bagel sandwich at Wawa on my way to the gym which would ultimately lead to the downfall of my training today. By the time we training I just felt hungry and my blood sugar felt low. All I wanted to do is get it over with and EAT.
Front squats: 60kgs x6 80x5 100x3 120x3x2
Deficit deadlift with 2” axle: 130lbsx8 220x6 310x5 400x3 450x1 500x1 550x1 365x 15 reps in 30 seconds (this is one of the events that my partners have to do in their upcoming strongman contest)
I was wiped out already at that point.
Hammer seated shrugs: 3PPS 4x20
Reverse hypers: 3x10
