Sunday- Max Effort Bench (3 Board)
Finishing out week 2 of the training cycle. Overall, feeling pretty good.
3 Board bar x8 95x5 115x3 135x3 155x1 175x1 <--- no boards, bench slid when I pressed, but it wasn't too bad. ADD BOARDS 185x1 205x1 225x1 240x miss 215x3 (downsets) 215x3 I just checked and my ALL-TIME PR for this exercise is 250... back when I was 10 pounds heavier... and quite possibly before kids (although I'm not certain on that). I did check back a few months ago and I hit 205x3, so my downsets were really good.
Pendlay Rows 4x8 @ 110
Battling Ropes w/ X-band and ankle band 4x30 seconds This is brutally awesome. Really fries up the rear delts as opposed to the front delts.
Pushdowns 3x12
DB Curls 4x10
A decent day overall. Had a visitor come over to train with us, so it helps to have an extra set of hands around.
