Arms 3-6 and a little Arnold summary with pics

Barbell curls 45x20,95x20,115x20,135x15
Lying cable curls 90x25,25
Dumbbell concentration curls (performed as one continuous set without rest just trading arms back and forth) 30x20,15,10,5
Band pushdowns (right arm pink band doubled left arm single strand only) again I just traded arms back and forth without rest until I completed 100 reps with both arms- pink band x 20,20,20,20,20
Close grip bench 45x20,95x15
Reverse grip one arm pushdowns (30lbs right arm, 10lbs left arm) x20,20,20

In the two pics I have attached, even though I still have a long way to go, I think you can see the size gains in my arms I have made in the last 12 months. Even after losing a good half inch off of my arms since the surgery they still appear bigger than a year ago. And yes I am quite aware the arm training isn't "hardcore" but my goals right now are centered around bodybuilding and my biggest weakness there is my arm size, so this is what I have to do to succeed in achieving my goals. And of course let's not forget chicks do dig big guns.

Every year the Arnold never fails to motivate me. Even as long as I've been around this game I am still amazed at the levels the athletes at the Arnold have managed to push themselves to.

Even though I was thoroughly whipped from the long days in the booth and basically going non stop from early morning to late night all weekend the first thing I did after the drive back home late Sunday night was to head downstairs to my basement gym to hit the weights.

In a bodybuilding sense it is always humbling for me to hang out with my fellow MuscleTech athletes. Phil Heath and Mike Libertore have some of the biggest and freakiest arms I have ever seen. Those guys continue to remind me how far I have to go in the arm department. Jay Cutler's sheer size is almost unbelievable and you really have to see the guy up close in person to appreciate it. The magazines and videos don't do him justice at all. Seth Feroce and Cedric McMillan are both young guns in the pros that have amazing physiques in structure, aesthetics and size. I'm certain both of them will be at the top of the sport before long.

The best thing about all of these guys is how cool and down to earth they are as well. Bodybuilders are often stereotyped for their massive egos and in some cases I have found that to be true but the surprising part is that it really is more prevalent at the local level than it is at the top of the sport.

This was the first time I have had a chance to hang out with Phil and even though he likes to joke and bust balls I found him to be really cool and down to earth despite all of his recent success. It was also my first time hanging out with Mike Libertore and he was a really great guy as well. Cedric and Seth are both great guys and Seth in particular is about as nice as they come, just a super cool dude with no ego what so ever. And of course as I have said before Jay Cutler is the best ambassador the sport of bodybuilding could have. For someone as popular as he is (and in bodybuilding he really is as famous as it gets) he still makes it a point to talk to everyone and is never aloof or condescending.
