What is the difference between doing a good morning with stiff legs and one with slightly bent legs. Does one work different muscles more than the other?
I use both the bent leg and straight leg Good Mornings. The straight legged goodmorning hits the hamstrings much harder. The bent knee good morning targets the hips and lower back. I practice the bent kneed GM in my squat stance, it mimics a squat gone bad. It has helped me recover more than a few squats as I got a bit out over my toes.
