Train your hamstrings the correct way!

Josh,

I know you have many years of personal training and training world class bodybuilders so thought I would ask you this question.

I am going to give my kid brother a kidney as he has a disease which caused him to go into renal failure.I will have scarring and a recovery period of 2-12 weeks and I am not sure yet how long before I can lift weights again.

I have been weight training for 8 years now doing general strength training and some powerlifting.I was wondering if you have ever trained someone post kidney op?If so could you suggest what I should do pre and post op to help my recovery?I am thinking about losing some fat and increasing my fitness but need to look into dieting.

I am very worried about my strength and muscle mass but thats life I am sure I can get it all back with some hard work

Thank you

Joey

Joey-First off you are an amazing person! Your brother is very fortunate to have someone like you. Joey, I have never worked with someone in this situation and if I did I would research the heck out of it. Sorry I am not more help, I will offer help in the way of my prayers.

All the best,
Josh Bryant
